Since Bartlett Communications launched in 2015, we’ve been on a mission to focus the spotlight on our clients – and crucially keep it there – in a way that grows their brands and bottom lines.
This is the founder and strategic head of the agency, Samantha (Sam) Bartlett, who started honing her award-winning expertise as a communications executive director more than a decade ago when she launched her first successful industry partnership in 2010.
“My entire career had been at the media coalface before crossing to The Dark Side, as my fellow editors called it, so not only was I a gifted storyteller but I could package editorially-enticing content for our clients,” says Sam.
“It wasn’t all smooth sailing though. Giving clients accountable influence was fantastic, but I began to understand that not everybody in the industry was as big on credibility – not with the public, the media, or their clients.
“It’s still infuriating to hear horror stories of dealings with big agencies; companies paying six-figure monthly retainers only to be fobbed off on junior account executives who produce one or two generic press releases a month then don’t return calls or reply to mails until the next billing cycle.”
That’s why we launched independently in 2015; to get our clients noticed in the right places for the right reasons.
